Best. Christmas. Cards. Ever.
I would be remiss if I posted about my love for the Christmas Cards I just approved without mentioning Krissie.
Both Krissie and Cassie are HUGE blog crushes of mine (and they’ve met, I’m oh-so-jealous of that!). They’re both into health and fitness and not being absolutely crazy about it.
LOVE IT.
A while ago Krissie mentioned her love for Erin Condren Designs and it didn’t take me long to hop on the bandwagon and order my Planner.
(It’s been a month and I’m STILL using it and TOTALLY love it).
Since then I’ve completed two more orders – one for note cards (branded for me and our photography business) and one for Christmas cards.
I’m so IN LOVE with the cards.
Seriously
Just look at them.
Aren’t they PERFECTION?!
If you haven’t already ordered your Christmas cards, there’s still time. As an added bonus, your order will be 40% off until October 19 (use code “HOLIDEAL” at checkout).
Seriously 40%!. How crazy amazing is that?!
AND, if you’re in the US you won’t have to pay an arm and a leg for shipping!
I absolutely cannot wait to see these in person.
Do you still send out Christmas cards?

There are few things I love in life as much as I love new stationery.
The Cowboy and I joke that I’m not allowed in Staples (or any store that carries pens) unattended, only, it’s not really a joke.
A about 10 days ago I ordered a Life Planner from Erin Condren designs and oh! my! gosh!
I’ve only had it for all of 30 minutes, but I’m completely and totally IN LOVE with it.
(source)
This planner also fits in perfectly with my GET ORGANIZED goal for September.
(one of) My favourite parts of my Life Planner is how totally customizable it was – I could add items and remove items. Totally awesome.
Plus?
It’s totally cute.
See?
I realized my iPhone had been set to a wacky setting after taking all the pictures and I was too lazy to retake, so forgive me! Just know it looks waaaay better in person!!
Before I forget, I must also give a huge SHOUT OUT to FedEx. Our concierge has decided to not work, so after stopping by our condo TWICE (and giving me a phone call) the FedEx driver DROVE TO MY WORK to hand deliver the planner to me. Seriously!
Dave at FedEx – THANK YOU for helping to MAKE MY DAY!
Even the shipping box is totally KICK ASS.
Want to see some more of the awesome?
OF COURSE YOU DO!
Here it is:
Each month starts off with a 2-page monthly spread.
Followed by weekly spreads divided into “Morning”, “Day” and “Night” boxes for planning.
As you can see, I’ve already started!
There are also totally wonderful quotes sprinkled thorughout the planner.
September’s quote
Autumn is a second spring where every leaf is a flower
– Albert Camus
Totally awesome stickers are also included.
I’ll be sticking on the “Pay Day” stickers FOR SURE!
As a bonus, I received a bunch of labels as well. Some are personalized (not pictured) and others are designed for birthdays and gifts, etc.
After seeing how good quality the Life Planner is, I’ll certainly be ordering our Change of Address labels from Erin Condren – now if only we knew where we were going to live!
Do you use a planner?
Or do you keep track of everything electronically?

Stuff I Love: Soda Stream
Over Christmas, The Cowboy and I were wandering around The Bay and spotted a SodaStream machine.
I had heard about them, forgotten about them, remembered Lauren thinks they’re awesome, and decided I absolutely needed one.
Instead of just shelling out our cash, we waited until after celebrating Christmas with The Cowboy’s parents and used some of the Christmas money from his grandfather to buy the Gensis starter kit and two flavours (Coke Zero and diet root beer).
The verdict? It. Is. Awesome. (and we’re drinking A LOT of root beer!).
Start with clean empty Sodastream bottles
Fill with water to the fill line
Attach to Sodastream and fill with CO2
Grab the root beer concentrate
Add to the carbonated water and ENJOY!
And finally, a picture of Maverick trying to drink beer

Fall Teas
I’ve fallen even more in love with David’s Tea. (I posted about the awesomeness of the spring and summer teas earlier and I’ve now discovered the fall teas)
It all started with a newsletter.
A newsletter with the following words: Pumpkin Chai, Mom’s Apple Pie, Buttercream, Caramel Spice.
After that? No hope. Not a one.
And so, I placed an order.
In the order:
- 100g of Pumpkin Chai
- 100g of Caramel Spice
- 100g of Mom’s Apple Pie
- 50g of Buttercream (I’m scared it’ll be a tad too sweet)
- 100g of Carrot Cake (seriously!)
- 100g of Movie Night
- 100g of Spearmint
Not only do they have amazing teas, but shipping is free for orders over $50 and it only takes a few days to arrive.
I haven’t had a chance to try them all yet, but I will tell you that they all smell freaking amazing!
My current favourite (tied with Pumpkin Spice Chai) is Carrot Cake
If you need me, I’ll be drinking, or peeing…..
Do you have any favourite teas? What fall tea above do you want to try the most?

Stuff I Love: David’s Teas
If you’re wondering what’s up with the header, I did a bit of blog redesign over the weekend, but I’m still waiting on a new logo from The Cowboy. For now, please bear with me
Thanks to E, I am now addicted to David’s Teas.
Calgary has a fancy schmancy tea store, but after discovering the awesomeness that is David’s Teas, I’m sold!
I have a whole bunch o’David’s Teas at home, but these two are my current favs.
Maple, apple, popcorn, green tea. Seriously, un-freaking-real. It’s also caffeine free so it won’t keep me awake when I enjoy it after dinner.
It’s also truly amazing with some vanilla almond milk. Mmmmmmm.
Minus the rum, of course.
Black tea with coconut.
Seriously.
Another unreal tea.
I also enjoy this tea with vanilla almond milk.
Perfection.

Stuff I Love: Yantra Mat
(website here, please ignore the 1992-esque website)
At first glance it looks a bit like a piece of torture.
Spikey plastic bits on a mat.
Huh?
That’s what she said.
It’s awesome.
I picked mine up at Stampede this weekend after hearing a friend rave about hers. It’s really an acupressure mat.
I first used mine on Sunday after marking exams for 8 hours (plus 12 hours on Saturday) followed by Stampeding for 6 hours. My back and neck were killing me!
At first the spiky bits are a tad painful, but then it gets better and you I could actually feel my body relax. Very neat.
In additional to my mat, I purchased the pillow and straps (the straps are excellent for any lower back pain issues).
After the first try, I’m loving it, I’m told to try it out for 20 minutes a day for 7 days and see if I feel better.
And it even comes in its very own carrying bag.
