Best Body Bootcamp: Week 1

I previously mentioned that this bootcamp fits in perfectly with my July goals: get in shape!

When I received my workouts for the week on Saturday, I was sopumped to start planning my workouts for the week.

I revamped my July schedule a bit (changes in purple) in order to fit in the strength training and running (hoo boy, I’ll be TIRED) but I think I can do it!

As a reminder, here’s the original July schedule I posted at the beginning of the month:

And here’s my progress to-date (green = successful workout; red = no workout; purple = changes for bootcamp) with the bootcamp workouts.

 

The bootcamp consists of 4 phases and each phase is 2 weeks. I’ve updated August for the bootcamp workouts, but might need to tweak it a bit since I have a lot of exam marking (2 weekends in a row!) going on – thankfully I have two weeks off from work in August :)

We’re also asked to set 2 health/fitness goals as part of the bootcamp.

Goal 1: drink 2 glasses of water before every meal (while a Skinny Rule, this is one I struggle with, so I really want it to be a focus)

Goals 2: Get at least 7 hours of sleep each nice (also, a Skinny Rule, but one I’ve really been struggling with; thanks Friday Night Lights)

I have to say, I’m so excited to start this!!
