April Fitness: Mid-month check-in
Since today is goal check-in day, it wouldn’t be complete without a fitness check-in post!
Here’s April per my plan:
And the first 2 weeks of April how they actually happened. I’ve missed some days here and there, but all-in-all, I think it’s going really well so far.
A few thoughts: After committing to this schedule and losing 5 pounds in each of April, May and June, I’ve found it much easier to motivate myself. There are numerous times in the past 2 weeks where I could have easily justified staying home and sitting on the couch, but instead I tossed on my gear and headed out. So far, this seems to be working.
I know I’ve already said it, but I’m determined to make sure the two weeks in Houston don’t derail my plans!
I’d been noticing a bit of pain in the outer edge of my foot when I’m at my weight classes, so I picked up a pair of cross-trainers today. I’ve been doing the classes in running shoes, which probably isn’t the best idea. The store was all out of the pink shoes, so I settled for the grey ones
