TGIF!

Whew!

Friday!

FINALLY.

What a long.freaking.week.

Unfortunately, for me, it’s not quite over yet. I’ll be working late (I think) tonight before meeting friends for dinner at 8pm and then heading into the office after spin class tomorrow.

(Yes, I will be heading to spin class on a Saturday morning. Why? Because I weighed myself today and I am the highest I’ve ever weighed in my whole entire life!. Busy season dinners probably don’t help with this)

Before moving into the weekend, a few things…..

  • A heartfelt thank you to everyone for your love, comments and support. A shout out to Raina for showing my Danny & Mara’s blog {A Blog About Love}

  • Danny & Mara don’t know me, likely never will, but their blog is amazing. Seriously. Reading it has given me so much hope. I’ve even forwarded some posts to The Cowboy (here, here and here) and hope we can chat about them soon.
  • I’m really, really looking forward to sleeping in on Sunday, grabbing groceries, making healthy meals (see above) and catching up on my PVR. I still have Glee, Vampire Diaries (Cassie – hurry up and get to Season 4!), Private Practice and I’m sure some others to catch up on.
  • Remember how I said The Cowboy and I go to our fav restaurantonce a week?! Well, we’ll be back on Saturday for a friend’s bday party. After this – no eating out until next year! <– only somewhat kidding here
  • I feel like I need to add more pictures in my posts. Heck, I haven’t even posted about our (Canadian) Thanksgiving trip to Victoria yet! (And I don’t just mean iPhone pictures!)
  • I’ve got to figure out a way to get the kitteh to sleep through the night. He’s cute and all, but attacking my hair at 3am is not my idea of fun!
  • I feel like I need to set a fitness goal past waking up at 5:30am M/W/F to go to the gym. I have no races on the calendar yet (well, except for a possible half on (Canadian) Thanksgiving, as my dad should be living in the city where I want to run it). My days are just so packed already! Maybe starting this program in May? I only want to run a half, but I think a full training program will give me a really good base.
  • I keep forgetting my iPhone charger at home, so I’ve been having no music days at work. Lame. I should probably just buy a second charger.
  • I need to remember to get my passport photo taken this weekend. The Cowboy and I want to go to Phoenix or Vegas at the end of March and both of our passports expire in March. Must do this ASAP! (We’ll be going with the IL’s who are currently in Phoenix. If they’re on the way home, we’ll meet in Vegas to see Garth Brooks – - and hopefully, Kelly!)
  • My nose has been stuffled all week. I don’t feel like I’m getting a cold, just a clogged nose. Annoying!
