Christmas from The Cowboy

Our original plan on Friday was to open 2 of the 4 presents we purchased for one another, and to save the other 2 plus stocking for Christmas morning.

We ended up opening the 4 presents and I didn’t budge on the stockings; The Cowboy sure can be persuasive when he wants to be. (Now the question is: did The Cowboy remember to buy stocking stuffers……..better yet, does The Cowboy have any idea what goes in a stocking).

All-in-all The Cowboy did really well this year :) There is one present that I think I may return – not because I don’t like it, but because I wanted a backpack for work and this one doesn’t have a compartment for my laptop…..

New Lulu:

I LOVE this hoodie. I’m a bit terrified I’ll get it dirty because it’s white, but it’s so super cute!

New backpack:

This is what I’m thinking of returning. It’s super cute, but just not what I think will work best for work. Instead I’m thinking this one may be better. It’s not as cool, but definitely functional.

TOMS Shoes:

How can you not love sparkley shoes?!

Wine decanter:

In the shape of a water bottle. So super awesome!

Closing out 2011

Yesterday The Cowboy and I finally went and purchased our gym passes for the upcoming year. It only took us nearly 3 weeks to walk the 10 minutes to do so!

Now that there are 11 days remaining in December, my goal is to go some sort of exercise every single one of those days. Be it yoga, gym, walking, something. Today I’m planning on starting with a spin class. Go big or go home, right?!

I’m also on the fence about buying an annual membership to my yoga studio as well. I have all my fitness paid for, so it might be worth it to get one so I can go when I want. I’m still working on my busy season fitness schedule (6:30am exercise classes and yoga? Maybe…..) so I can stay in shape during busy season (and by “shape” I don’t mean “round”).

We just finished up an awesome weekend with my dad, his girlfriend and my sister and have a 9 day break until The Cowboy’s parents come for Christmas #2 (or is it #3 since they’re coming after Christmas?) so we can relax, clean and catch up on life. The few pictures I have of our weekend will be posted soon-ish. Thankfully I don’t have to work during the break, so I’ll have lots of time to play catch up on the blog.
