#resound11 – Vices & Virtues
I missed yesterday’s #resound11 prompt as I was too busy having fun and partying it up with my co-workers!

12/02: Vices (here)
Did you slip back into any old habits that you wish you hadn’t? Did you gain any new habits that you wish you would have walked away from? Did you discover the evils of Nutella? ‘Fess up … we won’t tell.
I try fairly hard to keep my vices in check. I can easily watch too much TV, eat too much bad food and basically be a sloth on the couch, if I don’t actively plan and set goals for each and every day. I’m a terrible, terrible housekeeper and actively (most days) work to be better.
I think my biggest vice is my need for 1) a glass of wine with dinner and 2) dessert after dinner. Neither of which are actual needs. They’re wants and desires that I give into on a nearly daily basis because I enjoy them and I want them. Well, those and a spoonful of peanut butter.

12/03: Virtues (here)
Yesterday we got down and dirty and revealed our 2011 vices; today we’ll wipe the slate clean and talk about what personal virtues we discovered in 2011.
What good have you done in 2011? Where do you really shine? What have you done that makes you proud of yourself?
In fall 2010 I quit my job and took a new job. It was a big change and I was excited to take on a new challenge. Unfortunately, that job never ended up being a challenge. It was boring and I wasn’t progressing at all in my career. I stuck it out for 9 months and finally realized that it wasn’t for me. My previous job was the job for me. Yes, it’s strange to come back to a job I had quit, but it was the best decision I could make.
My virtue in 2011 was being true to myself, which can be very, very difficult to do.
What are your vices and virtues?

Wow.
What a busy, busy week! Happy Saturday morning everyone!
I don’t think I was in front of my computer for more than 5 minutes yesterday. Yesterday was the day that final exam marks come out – so it’s a huge celebration at my work place. Basically, we get the day off to par-tay! So awesome
It was made even awesomer as my second order from Express came on Thursday evening and I was brave enough to wear my red jeggings (you can find them here). I love them so much I’m going to buy more pairs in different colours.
But before I show you what I wore on Friday, I’m going to show you what I wore on Thursday.
I just LOVE the lace detailing on the cardigan. I love it so much I also ordered the cardigan in camel
100% without a doubt the best jeggings ever! And, surprisingly, people LOVED the jeans. It was a bit of a stretch given my place of employment, but they were loved. Now to buy them in blue, black and possibly white and pink. Heh.

I am a wine loving, food loving, running loving, blogging loving, yoga loving, picture taking loving, fashion loving woman. I live in Calgary, AB, with my wonderful husband to whom I've been married to for nearly 6 years!
