Daily Wears: More Yoga

I decided to mix up my yoga outfit for Friday (note that this was Friday, the day before I consumed way too much alcohol) and tried out one of my new Lululemon tops.

(On that note, I did wear the same top to the BBQ on Saturday and it doubled quite well as a nice BBQ-ish top. I was even able to play with an adorable 4 year old without my boobs popping out. Always a bonus. I asked if I could take the 4 year old home with me, sadly, they didn’t let me)

The verdict? Totally cute, but not the greatest material for hot yoga. The top is made out of Tencel, which, I’m told, is derived from wood fibers. It’s super soft, but not wicking for yoga.

That said, I did look cute.

Weekend Mashup

Wow.

Monday already.

It’s totally crazy how weekends just completely fly by now.

The Cowboy and I didn’t accomplish a whole heck of a lot over the weekend. Friday was a relaxing movie night (Red Riding Hood is not a good movie. The Adjustment Bureau is) with a bit of tidying in advance of our open house thrown in.

Saturday was a bit more cleaning and then we ventured off to an annual BBQ that I purchased my invite to at a charity auction in the fall. We certainly had a good time. We both indulged in too much alcohol (as did the majority of the people on hand) and paid for it on Sunday.

The good news it the partner who hosted in the BBQ is also the partner on the audit for a new job I’m seeking, so I’m hoping he can conveniently forget the drinks and recommend me for a job. *crosses fingers*

Much of Sunday was spent sleeping off the hangover. I napped from 11:30 to 1 and 2:30 to 4:00 and was in bed by 10pm. In between we managed to watch Elektra Luxx (skip it) and The Lincoln Lawyer and I managed to get most of my contract work done.

(Marking accounting assignments while hungover is not fun, let me tell you!)

And that, my friends, was my weekend.

This morning I met with a recruiter regarding the aforementioned job, so right now I’m crossing my fingers and toes and saying a prayer.
